About Us

Dogberry's School of Fencing was founded in 2003 by Dave Moran with the purpose of generating interest in the sport that is his passion.

Since then he has been joined by a loyal group of enthusiastic fencers from throughout the Bay area, many of whom continue to return to the Northern California Renaissance Faire year after year. We do not do this for profit; our desire is to spread our love for fencing to everyone who stops by the booth, in hopes that they will continue to seek out the sport even after Faire has ended!
